"We were looking for a Tundra (at Carmax, which is great place to buy a car as well) and decided to go by a dealer to see the price difference between a new and used truck. We called the dealership and spoke with a salesman (Kevin Austin) and told him the options, price range and colors we were looking for (with no mention of trades, credit scores or down payments). He said he had 3 trucks that met our criteria and asked if we could come down to look at them. I told him we could, but I only had a hour before work and would be upset if I wasted it driving down there for a lesser truck or some bait and switch. We got there in 20 minutes and to our surprise Kevin was waiting out front, with the trucks pulled out. We test drove the one we liked best and asked for a bottom line price. He gave it to us in writing (not hand written but on a actual form) with all of the taxes, fees and rebates listed, and it turned out to be $1000 more than the price of the one we liked at Carmax. We then talked about our trade and they ended up offering us $500.00 more than Carmax (which I felt had given us a fair offer). Overall, we were blown away by the service from the sales department and in particular Kevin. I've bought 6 new vehicles in the last 20 years (for my wife and I) and I can say that I never had a salesman that felt like they were there to help me until now. There is always this feeling of will they pull the "good salesman, bad sales manager" ploy? Even the service department was great when we added some side rails the next day (shout out to Jon Hardy and the fellows for getting me in and out on a busy day). The only unpleasant experience was with a finance manager, but that was because we didn't shop for an APR before we went in to buy the truck, that was more our fault than his because we knew better. Even with that, we felt we got a great deal without having to sell one of the children or win a street fight. We will definitely be back when my wife needs another car or my son starts driving. Dealership is highly recommended and especially Kevin Austin as a salesman. No BS or upselling, just there to help you get the vehicle you need."
